Volunteers are needed to deliver kosher meals to homebound individuals living in Mt. Vernon, Yonkers and New Rochelle. Sponsored by Westchester Jewish Community Services, the Kosher Meal Program operates Monday through Friday from Sinai Free Synagogue in Mt. Vernon where meals are picked up by 11:30am. Call 914-668-4350 to help.

Friday, May 29th

Shabbat in the Park, Crawford Park, Rye Brook, 5:45 pm

Shabbat songs and celebration with Cantor Asa and Sarah Fradkin, followed by dinner and time to play on the playground. Bring friends to see what Temple Sholom is all about.

Event is free, but please RSVP so we know how much food to order.

Come hear the Jewish People’s Philharmonic Chorus (Binyumen Schaechter, conductor) take you around the world on a musical tour of old and new Yiddish (and some French) songs about Paris, Spain, Poland, Lithuania, Ukraine, Israel and elsewhere.
