JCC Greenwich and PJ Library Chanukah Event, December 13 at 3 p.m.

The Greenwich community is invited to celebrate Chanukah with a special performance by environmental arts troupe, “Bash the Trash.” Children will also have DIY fun by learning how to build instruments out of reusable materials and get to eat latkes. This event will be held at Carmel Academy’s Lower School Gym, 270 Lake Avenue in Greenwich. Tickets are $18 per person. Register at JCCGreenwich.org.

Calvary and NASCK Event, December 17 at 8:30 a.m.

There are many people who are not aware of how to obtain excellent end of life information under halacha. Calvary Hospital and the National Association of Chevra Kadisha will be hosting Rabbi Mordechai Willig of YU, Rabbi Elchohon Zohn of NASCK and staff from Calvary Hospital to discuss this important topic. Chanukah Party and Raffle at Young Israel Stamford Dec. 12

Young Israel of Stamford will host a Chanukah Party and Raffle, with great food, new raffle prizes, friends and music. Enjoy a chesed project through Stars of Hope.

Cost: $25 per person or $36 per couple Raffle tickets are $18/ticket or $180/dozen. The event is free for those who purchase/sell a dozen tickets.

Young Israel of New Rochelle Ruach Classes for December

The Ruach program at YINR is currently full swing into its December program. On December 16, a Law and Order interactive theater program based on real-life criminal cases where participants play the prosecutor, defense attorney, judge and witnesses will be held at YINR under the leadership of Aytan Adler, a recreational therapist. On December 23, a screening of Welcome to Kutsher’s: The Last Catskills Resort will be held. There will be no program on December 30.
