The 2016 Westchester Jewish Film Festival, the largest annual Jewish event in the region, begins this week!  AJC Westchester/Fairfield is once again pleased to sponsor the festival at the Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville. It will feature 34 films that celebrate the Jewish experience around the world:

We welcome high-level AJC speakers for five post-screening discussions, as follows:

April 4 @ 7:30 p.m.: “The Prime Ministers: Soldiers and Peacemakers

Speaker: Dr. Steven Bayme, director of AJC’s Contemporary Jewish Life Department and the Koppelman Institute for American Jewish-Israeli Relations

April 7 @ 7:30 p.m.: Rabin in His Own Words

Speakers: Amir Sagie, Deputy Israeli Consul General in New York, and Ambassador Aaron Jacob, AJC Associate Director of International Affairs

April 10 @ 12 p.m.:Raise the Roof

Speaker: Gosia Weiss, AJC Senior Associate for Polish-Jewish Affairs

April 13 @ 7:30 p.m.:The Gruninger File

Speaker: Jason Isaacson, AJC Associate Executive Director for Policy and Director of Government and International Affairs

April 18 @ 7:30 p.m.:Karski and the Lords of Humanity
