As Passover 5779 brings us together at the seder table, let’s be a link to one another.

Know a family or couple, single or elderly person who is going to be alone on Passover? It’s not too late to invite them over. Give them a link to your family, to a community.

Please make sure the shopping, cooking and cleaning for seder does not fall on the shoulders of just one or two people in your family. Link with them to help.

Make sure that the children come first. They should feel proud of the Pesach artwork they bring from school to the table. That they understand how wonderful it is that they ask the Four Questions, sing the song about Pharaoh and his frogs; that this gives them a priceless foundation of Jewish memories. Link the children to our history that is the birthright of all of klal Yisrael.

It’s all about the links of family, friends, the Jewish people, our local communities and, of course, Israel.

The publishers, editors and staff at The Jewish Link of the Bronx, Westchester, and CT  are blessed to be your community source of news and advertising. The “Link” that we have with you transcends paper, ink and digital media.

It is our hope for you and the entire community that the spirit of the sedarim transcend the eight days of this, the season of our freedom. As we share our connections together here in New Jersey as neighbors or across the world in Israel, our ancestral homeland, may we always find that link in one another.
