(Courtesy of Intimate Voices) Intimate Voices, a Riverdale-based chamber music series featuring world-class musicians, will present the first concert of its 11th season on Saturday, November 23, at 8 p.m. at its home, the Conservative Synagogue Adath Israel of Riverdale (CSAIR), 475 West 250th Street, Bronx, New York.

The series presents chamber music in an intimate and acoustically excellent setting at CSAIR and in outreach events in the Riverdale community. The participating musicians have performed in venues all over the United States and abroad as soloists as well as in ensembles ranging from major string quartets to the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic.

In announcing the 11th season, Music Director Sheila Reinhold said, “We are thrilled to have reached this milestone of starting our second decade. Last season, our donations from audience and community members were at an all-time high, and we also received the highest number of individual donations. This continued support of so many music lovers over the past 10 seasons, as well as that of local merchants, has made our work possible, and in addition has inspired New York-Presbyterian/The Allen Hospital to once again renew its generous sponsorship for a fifth straight year.”

Intimate Voices series concerts include complimentary refreshments and an informal post-concert reception with the musicians. Doors will open at 7:30 wine, coffee and tea, and the concert begins at 8:00.

In addition to its Saturday evening series concerts at CSAIR, Intimate Voices plans to continue its expanded community outreach, visiting classes at a local special-needs pre-school, performing at area rehabilitation and nursing facilities, and presenting a sensory/autism-friendly Family Program free to all at CSAIR (early 2020, TBD).

The November 23 program will be followed by Saturday evening performances at CSAIR on January 11 and February 29  both at 8 p.m. Ticket prices are $70 for a three-concert subscription, and single tickets are $30 ($25 for seniors, $15 for students/under-30). Tickets include all refreshments and can be purchased by credit card online at  or at the door by check or cash.
