From the early childhood sukkot being built, to the middle school ensuring the school’s sukkah had all elements to make it kosher, the students at WTA prepared for the chag b’simcha! After learning the many mitzvot and customs to practice on Sukkot prior to the holiday, the students were able to apply what they had learned while school was in session on Chol Hamoed. Students also enjoyed special field trips, including a middle school “sukkah hop” and a chesed trip to prepare packages for children at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital. The entire school partook in “sukkah science,” a STEM project between oldest and youngest grades that taught them about the tefillah of geshem (rain).
