On Thursday evening January 3, Dr. Barry Coller addressed 65 SAR students on the bioethics of human gene editing.

Dr. Coller is the physician in chief, vice president for medical affairs at Rockefeller University, and is a member of the committee on human gene editing established by the National Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Medicine to consider the technical and ethical questions around the use of CRISPR Cas9 and other technologies used to do human gene editing.

SAR is so fortunate that he agreed to speak to the students.
