On March 27, fourth graders at Westchester Torah Academy had the opportunity to present their original fables at their “Flight of Fabulous Fables” event. The students learned about the elements of a fable and read many fables in preparation for this project. The children worked diligently to write, proofread and edit their work before publishing and creating a presentation. Creative artwork, skits and puppet shows based on the students’ work were enjoyed by all. What were the morals of the stories? Be trustworthy, have courage and respect others—to name a few.
