Westchester Torah Academy has hit many exciting milestones this year: opening a second class for its kindergarten, welcoming grades five and six to middle school and breaking ground on the soon-to-be permanent home in New Rochelle. One of the most meaningful milestones was celebrating the first bar mitzvah at WTA on April 5. Family and friends of the Harrison family gathered for Shacharit and watched as Isaac Harrison put on his tefillin and read from the Torah. Beautiful singing and dancing in celebration followed. There was a strong sense of excitement and nachat felt by all teachers, students, family and friends in attendance.
