The third grade geometry class at WDS had the opportunity to take the knowledge they learned from math class and put it into a creative project called Geometry Cities. The students enjoyed the entire process starting with brainstorming ideas, planning, organizing, sketching and finally building six original, amazing cities. They worked in cooperative groups, shared ideas, followed specific guidelines, used designated materials and were flexible in their decision making. Who knows? There might be an architect or urban planner in our midst!
