Since going virtual over two week ago, Westchester Torah Academy’s planned events have not been interrupted! Everything from a Virtual Bar Mitzvah, with leining and brachot from classmates, to a “Very Virtual Purim” community tefillah and Megilla reading—Zoom has allowed the community to stay connected and celebrate despite the distance in between. Students and teachers even parted ways with their banot sherut who they have come to adore since the start of the school year. Just as they would enter each class for an activity at school, the banot sherut joined a Zoom session and said their goodbye.
