On Friday, January 22, Westchester Torah Academy became the site of Westchester's very own Wax Musem. Third graders read and studied the biographies of famous individuals from history. These studies culminated with the creation of their very own impersonations of these figures. Characters represented were Albert Einstein, Helen Keller, Elvis Presley, Jackie Robinson, Benjamin Franklin, Harry Houdini, Louis Braille, JK Rowling, Eugenie Clark, Gregor Mendel and Satchel Paige. Parents and students at WTA were museum patrons who were able to “push” a button that allowed the wax figures to speak about themselves.
