After a crushing 7-3 home defeat at the hands of SAR earlier in the month, the Frisch Cougars attempted to reverse their fortune at SAR this past Monday, November 27.

Shua Friedman opened the scoring early in the first with a slap-shot beating the netminder low. Shortly thereafter, Jacob Nayowitz capitalized on a Frisch turnover in front of the net, yielding SAR an early two goal lead. SAR continued their dominant period, as Gordie Kolb and Judah Fortgang added goals to put SAR up four by the end of the first frame.

The second and third periods proved to be a penalty filled affair, as the teams traded power-plays, though neither team could capitalize with the extra man. Gordie Kolb added his second of the night to give SAR a commanding 5-0 lead. With four minutes to go, Frisch cut into the SAR lead with a turnaround shot from the point, though it was too little too late as SAR ended the rematch victorious by a score of 5-1.
